Wiring sensors into I/O junction boxes
Proximity and photoelectric sensors on conveyors, fixtures and machine guards are terminated through M12 cordsets into passive I/O boxes, which then run a single trunk cable back to the PLC. A 2 m lead covers the typical distance between the sensor mounted on the machine frame and the box on the guard rail.
Extension and retrofit leads
Where the original sensor lead is too short after a machine modification, or where a connector has been damaged by coolant and chips, a pre-moulded cordset restores the connection without re-terminating the sensor cable - important for IP-rated machines where a field-made joint would break the seal.
